Dr Supriya Chowdhury
Specialist Pain Medicine Physician
Dr Supriya Chowdhury is a highly trained medical professional who specialises in anaesthesia and pain management. She obtained her medical degree with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney and also completed a Masters in Medicine in Pain Management from the same institution. Dr Chowdhury completed her anaesthesia training at Liverpool Hospital, where she received a Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia, and subsequently completed pain medicine training at both the Department of Pain Management and Research Royal North Shore Hospital and Liverpool Hospital.
Currently, Dr Chowdhury serves as the Director of Acute Pain Services at Liverpool Hospital and also works as a pain specialist at Royal North Shore Hospital. She is an active member of both the International Neuromodulation Society and Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand. Dr Chowdhury's areas of expertise include the treatment of persistent post-trauma pain and chronic post-surgical pain. With her extensive training and experience, she is well-equipped to provide exceptional care and support to her patients.
