Our Specialist team led by Dr Alan Nazha are highly experienced and skilled in diagnostic and interventional procedures and treatments ranging from pharmacological to advanced pain therapies such as spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation and radiofrequency procedures.
We work alongside a team of dedicated professionals including physiotherapists and psychologists to implement the most effective pain management for your individual needs.
Our Specialists
Dual qualified Anaesthetist and Specialist Pain Physician with expertise in minimally invasive pain therapies. Completed anaesthetic training at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2011 (FANZCA qualification) and underwent further subspecialty training in Pain Medicine at Royal North Shore Hospital, Concord Hospital and Hunter Pain Clinic. Awarded a merit in pain medicine fellowship examinations (FFPMANZCA) and went on to subspecialise further with a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP).

Specialist Pain Medicine Physician
Dr Jane Standen is a Dual qualified Consultant Anaesthetist and Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. She studied medicine at the University of Sydney and trained in anaesthesia at the Prince of Wales Hospital. Subspecialty training in pain medicine was undertaken at the Michael J Cousins Pain Management and Research Centre at Royal North Shore Hospital.
